???????As part of the First Midwifery & Nursery Days, The Opening, Applicability, and Transformation of Mother & Baby Friendly Practices has taken place at Bahçelievler Public Hospital on the 10th of May, 2017; and The President of our Hand in Hand for Birth Association Psychologist (MA) Ne?e Karabekir has joined the panel as a panelist.

Accompanied with videos, animated psychodrama, examples of exercises, and case studies; we have discussed the following:

-           The history of the ‘Mother & Baby Friendly’ concept

-           The importance of Mother & Baby Friendly approaches in respect to the pregnant person, their caretakers, and patient rights

-           Mother & Baby Friendly approaches in the delivery room practices

-           Provision of care in a Mother Baby Friendly way to the pregnant person, puerperant, and the baby

-           Trainings for Childbirth Preparation and the Education of Personnel for Mother and Baby Friendly Practices

-           National and International Issues in the Transformation to Mother and Baby Friendly Practices

-           Practices in each participant’s hospital that they work for.
