Midwife

After completing her degree in Realschule in 1995, Varlık started her midwifery education of 3 years in Germany. In 1997, she joined Cornelia Enning’s waterbirth seminar in 1997.

After completing her midwifery education in 1998, she started working at Markus Hospital in Frankfurt as a midwife. During her midwifery work, she also got training in aromatherapy, homeopathy, and Bach-Blütentherapie. In addition to her work at Markus Hospital; she has conducted house calls, childbith preparation and post-natal exercise courses.

She has also led many water births. In addition to her midwifery services, she has also served as a doula by using complementary medicine methods and natural remedies for comforting the mother in labor.

In 2007, she got married and moved to İstanbul. In 2008, she gave birth to her son Batu naturally.

She is still working at the İstanbul Birth Academy in the fields of midwifery trainings and meetings, breastfeeding, childbirth preparation and doula training courses.
