Our Association Visited the Bumi Sehat Foundation in Bali

We had a meeting with the founder of the association midwife Robin Lim and got information about pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum.

This place we visited last week is a Bumi Sehat Maternity and Healthcare Center in Bali. Robin Lim (Mother Robin or Ibu Robin) is the founder of Yayasan Bumi Sehat (Healthy Mother Earth Foundation) Foundations, which provides free maternity, prepartum and health services to people in need and midwives. She and her team have been battling Indonesia’s high rates of childbirth and child mortality since 2003. Today, Bumi Sehat Foundations still continue to help mothers with risky pregnancies. Robin Lim was awarded the 2011 CNN “Hero of the Year” award by the CNN news network for helping thousands of low-income women in Indonesia with healthy pregnancy and birth services.
